People play it with their friends and vote.
If it's good it goes up. If it's bad in a fun way it also goes up sometimes.

Find something weird on the front page.

FAQ

Is this a joke?

The site looks like one. The games are real and so are the devs. Post yours.

Do I need a Steam page?

No. An itch.io page is fine, and it's free. Those are the two places a game can live here: itch.io or Steam.

Why only itch.io and Steam? I have a zip.

Because nobody here is going to run your .exe to find out what it is. itch.io and Steam host the files and scan them, so players can trust the download and we don't have to play antivirus. Put it on itch.io, it takes ten minutes, then post the link.

What does "go viral" actually mean here?

Top-voted games get the front page and we push them everywhere we can reach: socials, the newsletter, the Discord, our own group chats. It's a small machine right now. It gets bigger with you in it.

I'm a player, not a dev. Why am I here?

Because friendslop needs friends. Browse games, grab a crew, play, vote. The devs literally cannot do the last three for you.

Can I post someone else's game?

Yes, if you credit them and they're cool with it. Posting your friend's game is kind of the whole point.
